The 3-step protocol

A science-based methodology for moving Crohn's and ulcerative colitis toward remission — built on systems biology and tested across 200+ IBD clients.

1

Stop and control inflammation

Calm the inflammatory cascade first. Targeted dietary, supplement, and lifestyle interventions to bring active flares down before tackling root causes.

2

Modulate and nourish the microbiome

Reset the gut bacterial balance and feed what should thrive. Strategic probiotic, prebiotic, and antimicrobial protocols shift the microbiome toward a state that supports remission — while the Adaptive Dietary Framework guides you through foundational, stability, and exploratory food phases to rebuild a microbiome that supports healing.

3

Repair and maintain the gut barrier

Heal the intestinal lining and lock in the gains. Targeted nutrients and protocols restore gut barrier function, reduce permeability, and lock in long-term remission.

Common questions

If yours isn't here, you can ask on the call — no commitment.

Is Systema medical advice? Will my GI approve?

No, Systema is not medical advice. The program runs alongside your physician's care — we don't prescribe, diagnose, or change medications. Personally coaching with Andrew never replaces regular visits with your physician. Many clients tell their GI they're working with Systema; the goal is for the data and frameworks (especially the Remission Master Plan) to make those appointments more productive. Individual results may vary.

How is this different from what my GI already does?

Your GI manages the medical side — medication, scopes, labs, infusions. Systema manages the day-to-day system: the 3-step protocol (Stop · Modulate & Nourish · Repair), the Adaptive Dietary Framework, and the lifestyle/mindset work. The two roles complement each other; they don't overlap.

What if I'm on biologics or other prescription medications?

Most Systema clients are on biologics, immunomodulators, or other prescription regimens. We coach around your medication schedule, not against it. Never make changes to your health protocol without your physician's explicit consultation.

How long until I see results?

Client-reported calprotectin data shows an average reduction from 1,589 µg/g to 198 µg/g over an average of 13.4 months. Most clients start seeing meaningful symptom shifts in the first 60–90 days. The program runs for one full year because IBD is a system, not a quick fix. Individual results may vary and depend on effort, consistency, medical supervision, and individual health factors.

What's the time commitment?

Weekly 1-on-1 coaching calls plus group sessions, access to the 5-part curriculum at your pace, and ongoing community + Slack support. The Remission Master Plan keeps the work focused so you're not drowning in protocols.

What if it doesn't work for me?

We screen for fit before you ever invest. The free 1-on-1 admissions call is where we figure out together whether the 3-step protocol is the right fit for your specific situation. If we don't think Systema can help, we'll tell you on the call. Individual results may vary and depend on effort, consistency, medical supervision, and individual health factors.
